CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation portal, scheduled to go live on June 1, still remains inaccessible

CBSE Class 12 Re-Evaluation Portal Faces Persistent Technical Issues, Causing Student Frustration

Synopsis

The Central Board of Secondary Education’s re-evaluation portal for Class 12 students, which was scheduled to go live on June 1, remains inaccessible, causing significant confusion and frustration among students awaiting the service.

Despite an official CBSE notification on May 29 stating that the portal for obtaining photocopies of evaluated answer sheets, verification, and re-evaluation would be operational from the first of June, students have been unable to access it.

Many Class 12 students have complained of experiencing blank pages, inactive links, and various technical glitches while attempting to use the portal.

As of now, the CBSE has not issued any official statement regarding the delay in making the portal fully functional and accessible to the student community.

This situation has intensified scrutiny of the Board’s examination and evaluation processes, particularly following recent attention drawn by three students—Vedant Srivastava, Nisarg Adhikari, and Sarthak Siddhant—who highlighted alleged flaws in CBSE’s On-Screen Marking system.

Vedant reportedly discovered discrepancies during the re-evaluation process when a different Physics answer sheet was allegedly linked to his application.

Sarthak raised concerns regarding the alleged association between an entity named ‘COEMPT EDU TECK’ and CBSE, claims that have generated significant discussion in the media.

Nisarg Adhikari also reportedly exposed vulnerabilities in the CBSE website, bringing further attention to alleged shortcomings in the system.

The revelations made by these three students have highlighted broader concerns over transparency and technical reliability within the Board’s evaluation framework.
